So that`s February 20th over with. My feet hurt and my body aches, but it was worth it. Back in October - right after the Tory conference - a message appeared in my Facebook stream, asking if anyone wanted to do something about the current toxic climate. I did. Racism and xenophobia have been a problem in the UK for a while, most of it based on lies and manipulation, but this time the politicians who were supposed to condemn it and lead the country decided to actively join in. This made it all so much worse. Suddenly it`s ok to admit to being racist, it`s ok to lie to people to get some votes or sell a newspaper, people are being attacked in the streets for speaking another language, even...
